Obituary - Lula May Anders

Lula May Anders, 90, Topeka, died Wednesday, Sept 8 at a Topeka nursing home.
Mrs. Anders had been a seamstress many years for various clothing stores in Topeka.
She was born May 27, 1903 in Falls City, Neb., the daughter of Charles L. and Rachel Jane Henry Allen.  She graduated from Hiawatha High School and had lived in Topeka since 1923.
Mrs. Anders was a member of Modern Woodmen of America.
She married Wilbur E Anders on Dec. 31, 1923 in Lawrence.  He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1970.
Additional survivorss include a daughter, Betty Couch, Topeka; a son, Donald E Anders, Topeka; two brothers, Francis Allen, Wathena,and Artie Allen, Napa, Idaho; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.  
The body was cremated.  Inurnment services were Saturday in Mount Hope Cemetery.
