Obituary - Donald Anderson

Donald Earnest Anderson, 80, rural Denton, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1992, at his home.
Mr. Anderson was a retired farmer and stockman.
He was born Feb. 18, 1912, in Leona, the son of Daniel O. and Anna Lieman Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a life member of Upper Wolf Lutheran Church south of Robinson and the Church Council and was president of Midway Senior Citizens.  He was a former member of Denton School Board, Robinson Coop Board, and Upper Wolf Cemetery Board.
He was married to Fern Mellenbruch on Dec. 27, 1937, in Immanuel Lutheran Church near Fairview.  She survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Teresa Cawthon, Lee's Summit, Mo.;three sons, John Anderson Trimble, Mo., Richard Anderson, Caney and Walter Anderson, Osage City; two brothers, Oscar Anderson, Everest, and Luther Anderson, Hiawatha; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 23, in Upper Wolf Lutheran Church.  Burial was in Upper Wolf Lutheran Cemetery south of Robinson.  Brown County Mortuary in Hiawatha handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Upper Wolf Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in care of the church.
