OBIT -- JANICE SUE KINSEY

Janice Sue Kinsey, 40, Troy, died Tuesday, July 20 at a St. Jo hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Kinsey was born Dec. 1, 1952 in Topeka. While growing up, she lived in Okamogee, Okla., Tulsa, Okla., Topeka, Manhattan, Fostoria and Olsburg, Ks. She graduated from the Blue Valley High School in Randolph, Ks., in 1971. She attended Kansas State University from 1971-73. She then worked for the KSU Veterinary Clinic from 1973-76. She worked 11 years at the Troy Grade School as a teacher's aide in Chapter I and also in the computer classroom. She was also a homemaker.
She married Hugh C. Kinsey Sept. 4, 1976 in Manhattan. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Kinsey was a member of the Olsburg Methodist Church, a member of the PTO of the Troy School and was also very active in the Troy summer ball program.
She was also working towards a teaching degree from the Benedictine College in Atchison and had completed all except her student teaching at the Wathena Grade School. She would have received her degree this fall.
Additional survivors include three daughters, Nicole Marie, Kirstin Jean and Andrea Sue, all of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Keen, St. Mary's, Ks.; a sister, Regina Hoover, Las Vegas, Nev.; and a brother, Douglas Keen, Topeka.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Troy High School gymnasium. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy. Donald Harter and Rev. Sam Blythe will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 7:00-8:30 at Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Troy. Memorials may be made to Troy School Scholarship Fund in memory of her.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Stephan Joel, Thad Geiger, Randy Rosenberger, Alan Boeh, George Bruning, Jim Fischer. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Brad Gaul, Warren Grable Jr., Bryan Paden, Roger Boeh, Dr. Howard Jensen, Larry Turpin.
Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Troy, is in charge of arrangements.
