Barbara E. (Throckmorten) McNemee, 63, Troy, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 22 at a St. Jo hospital.
A lifelong resident of Troy, Mrs. McNemee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy.
In 1947 she married John McNemee at Troy. He survives of the home.
Mrs. McNemee was preceded in death by a sister, Valita I. Gilwreath.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Wilma J. McNemee and Valita K. Jones, both of Troy; two sons, William A. and Robin D., both of Troy; three brothers, Floyd D. Throckmorten, St. Jo, Daniel R. Throckmorten, Mesa, Ariz., and Darrol Throckmorten, New Mexico; two half brothers, Homer D. Courtin, Kansas City, and John W. Throckmorten, St. Jo; a sister, Donna W. Ellis, St. Jo; six grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Services were Saturday at Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Troy. Burial was at Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy.
