OBIT - - VICTOR R. SCOTT

Victor R. "Nick" Scott, 76, Elwood, formerly of Troy, died Thursday, June 17, 1993, at a St. Joseph hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena.  Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, with full military honors under the auspices of Wathena VFW Post No. 5531.
Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to Wathena VFW Post No. 5531.
Mr. Scott was born Feb. 10, 1917, in Troy, the son of Clyde and Barbara Ellen Thornton Scott.
He was a self-employed carpenter before his retirement.  He was a member of VFW Post No. 5531, Wathena, and attended the Sparks Baptist Church.
Mr. Scott was a Navy veteran of World War II.
His wife, Twila Cox Scott, preceded him in death on Nov. 6, 1992.  He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include a brother, Joe Scott, Elwood; a sister, Lucille Hossfield, Powhattan; and a number of nieces and nephews.
