Obituary Raymond Eugene Bell
Raymond Eugene "R.B." Bell, 43, Wathena, died Wednesday, March 10 at his home.
Mr. Bell was born April 7, 1949 in Wathena, the son of Charles Edward and Verda Elizabeth Rathburn Bell. He was a lifelong resident of Wathena. He worked for a wrecker service.
He was an Army Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. Post No 5531 of Wathena.
Mr. Bell married Peggy Ann Gaither on Sept. 10, 1989, in St. Jo. She survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bell; his step father, Cyrus "Tot" Hickman; two brothers Charles M Bell, in 1973, and Michael (Mike) Lee Bell, in 1978.
Additional survivors include his mother, Verda Hickman, Wathena; three daughters, Ragenna Bell, St. Jo, Tressa Groh and Lisa Bell both of Wathena; two sons Heath Bell, St. Jo, and Sean Bell, Parksvillle, Mo.; two grandsons; his maternal grandmother Clara Rathburn, Wathena; a brother Edward Bell, Wathena.
Services were Saturday in Wathena. Burial was at Bellmont Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post No 5531 of Wathena. Rev. James Gaither officiated.
Pallbearers were Charles Bell, Heath Bell, Jerry McVey, Billy Watts, Raymond Orcutt, Melvin Erickson, Brett Richey, Loren Laipple.
Harman-Rhode Funereal Home, Wathena, was in charge of arrangements.
