Chester "Leon" Trant, 47, Troy, died Sunday, August 8, 1993, in a car accident two miles east of Troy on Highway 36.
Trant was a lifelong resident of Troy. He was graduated from Troy High School and Northwest Missouri State University at Maryville where he received a master's degree.
Trant, a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy, worked as an educational administrator at the Western Missouri Correctional Center at Cameron, MO.
Surviving are his parents, Clarence and Alice (Sharp), Troy; a son, Travis L. of the home; two daughters; Rebecca S. of the home, and Michelle K. Troy; two sisters, Thelma Horner and Marjorie McClelland, both of Troy, and a brother, Clarence Jr., Troy.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church. Burial was at Mont Olive Cemetery.
