Obituary - Virginia E Blair
Virginia E Blair was born August 19, 1921, in Highland, Kansas, to Mr. and Mrs. William F. Bauer, and passed away at her home on March 9, 1993. She and her twin brother Virgil, were the youngest of 15 children. At an early age she was baptized at the highland Christian Church. She attended Highland schools in 1939 and proceeded on to Highland College to obtain a business certificate. Shortly thereafter, she married James M. Blair on May 22, 1943, in Richmond, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, James, a son, James R. of Germantown, Tennesse; a daughter, Jane E Shepherd of Phoenix, Arizona; two grandchildren, Barbara E Blair of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and James R Shepherd of Phoenix; two brothers Virgil Bauer of Highland, and Billy Bauer of Appleton, Wisconsin; two sisters Wilma DeMoof Troy, and Josephine Solheim of Blue Springs, Missouri
Memorial services were held on March 11, 1993 at Valley Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will be held in the Highland cemetery at a later date.
