Ida Katherine Gsell Eader

Ida Katherine Eader, 91, of Troy, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1993 at a heath care center in Wathena.  She was born at Kidder, Mo., Oct. 24, 1901 to Clayton and Martha Transee Gsell.  She had been a resident of Troy for many years.  She graduated from the Troy High School in 1922 and had been a school teacher in Doniphan County.

Mrs Eader was married to her husband, Henry D. Eader in June 1925.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 23 1973.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Mrs Eader was a member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, all of TRoy and a 50 year member of the Rebekah Lodge 270 at Wathena.

Survivors are nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services wee held at Mt. Olive Cemetery Wednesday, Jan 13 with the Rev. John Burgreen officiating.  Harman-Rohde Funeral HOme, Troy, handled the arrangements.
