Obituary - Dorothy Brook

Dorothy (Huber) Brook, 78 Hiawatha, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, at a local health care center.
Born in Troy, Mrs. Brook had lived most of her life in Doniphan and Brown counties in Kansas.
She was a member of the Jolly Janes Club and Wesleyan Guild, both of Hiawatha.
In 1922 she married William L. Brook in Troy.  He survives of the home.
Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia, a sister Beatrice Judd and three brothers, Frank, Bill and Forrest Huber.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Mary E. Schoonover of La Grange Park, Ill., Pauline Blanton and Barbara Gaede, both of Hiawatha, and Wilma I Fischer of Overland Park; two sons, John Brook, Green Valley, Mo, Ben Brook, Clarkson, Mo.; seven sisters, Edna Howland, Topeka, Ida M. Stewart, Auburn, Neb., Helen L. Lyle, Maxine Clark and Maude Jones, all of St. Jo, Ruby Gibson, Highland, Marry L. Clark, Easton; a brother, Bob Huber, Florida; 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
Services were held in Hiawatha with burial at Hiawatha Cemetery.
