Elizabeth A Chapple Mell, 87, Troy, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at a St. Joseph nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy.
Friends may call after noon Thursday. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Troy Ambulance Fund.
Mrs. Mell was a homemaker.
She was born June 6, 1907, in Troy, the daughter of Edwin A. and Sarah Belle Taylor Chapple.
Mrs. Mell was a member of the First Christian Church of Troy and American Legion Auxiliary No. 55, Troy.
She married Clarence Mell on March 31, 1940, in Troy. He died June 27, 1990. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sisters, Ednabel Elliott, Leavenworth, and Vera Harrison, Benton; and a brother, Gordon Chapple, Brentwood, Tenn.
