Obituary - Adams, Della
Della (Babe) Adams, Manilla, Iowa, died Saturday, December 5, 1992. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Adams was born at Highland May 23, 1911, the daughter of Chase Thomas and Myrtle Elizabeth Baird Thurber. She was raised in Highland was graduated from high school there. Following high school, she attended St. Luke's School of Nursing in Kansas City, MO.
She moved to Denison, Iowa, in 1931, and was united in marriage with Louis John "Chick" Adams in 1932.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and three children, Connie Sue Adams, James Edward Adams and Frank Louis Adams.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Fred Wirjers, Sac City, IA; cousins, Dorothy Baird Flannery, Lawernce, KS, John Grimes, Lee's Summit, David Grimes and Cheryl Benjamin, both of Sterling, VA; other relatives and freinds.
A memorial Eucharist was celebrated December 8 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Denison, Iowa
